Welcome to DUPLAYS indoor womens Basketball league! This league will operate a new 10 week season from January to March 2012. This is a recreational division, for teams/individuals who are of all fitness and skill levels and want to enjoy some Basketball in a womens only environment in Abu Dhabi.

Sign up process

If you’ve come to the website for the first time then Register/Login with duplays.com (top right corner) and then select the following options

Individual – sign up here if you don’t have a team and would like to be placed on one. State your preferred playing position in the comments box

Team – sign up here if you’re entering your own team into the league, we allow corporate as well as private teams. Captains please note that all your team mates must sign up online

Rules: Read the Rules section for specific details like duration, footwear, timings, etc

Payment: The fees advertized are for playing once a week. There are not other fees other than the one advertised for Individuals as well as Teams. The following payment options are available:

• Online (recommended)
• Offline (Total payment in cash or cheque on first night of play)

Highlights of the league:

• 5 a side womens indoor basketball
• Teams play once a week
• Days: Wednesday and Friday
• Duration: 10 week season (playoffs start in final week)
• Timing: 7:00pm - 9:00pm, if a scheduled game does not start 10mins after stated start time, the team causing the delay will forfeit the match
• Fee: There is no other fee besides league fee for individuals/teams that's advertised
• Forfeit: Minimum 4 players from original team on the pitch to avoid forfeit, teams are allowed to borrow players ONLY with the consent of the other captain and administrator
• Surface: Acrylic; Non marking sneakers only
• Fighting/Serious Offence: 2 match ban for the players indicated by the referees, a repeat and the players will be disqualified
• No Smoking: anywhere in the school premises, teams will be disqualified if they don't respect this rule
• Clear your garbage when you leave the field
