Welcome to the DUPLAYS Ultimate Frisbee league page. This league runs for 8 weeks. Practice the art of disk throwing at the Metropolitan fields, get your friends and work mates together, form a team and sign up
Sign up process:
If you’ve come to the website for the first time then Register/Login with duplays.com (top right corner) and then select the following options
Individual – sign up here if you don’t have a team and would like to be placed on one
Team – sign up here if you’re entering your own team into the league, we allow corporate as well as private teams
Rules: Read the Rules section for specific details like duration, footwear, timings, etc
Payment:
There are not other fees other than the one advertised for Individuals as well as Teams. The following payment options are available:
Online (recommended)
Offline - Cheque/Cash on the first night of the league
Teams have a 2 week deadline to pay – after this period teams will either have their points deducted or be replaced by another team
- Each teams play two 30 minute games per night
- Teams play back-to-back games or max interval of 30 minutes between games
- Minimum of 1 women on the field at all times (otherwise team plays a person down)
- DUPLAYS league is 6 players per team
- If a team is short players they may pick up players but original players must always be on field of play. Team's fielding less than 4 of their registered players will have their games forfeited and a loss counted towards them. Objective is to still play the game as that's why we all come out, albeit to make it as a fair as possible (and to prevent ringers).
Spirit of the Game: Ultimate stresses sportsmanship and fair play. Competitive play is encouraged, but never at the expense of respect between players, adherence to the rules, and the basic joy of play.
Note: No cleats, studs, or blades allowed - no exceptions. Turf and running shoes are allowed and we will keep the fields as dry as possible (humidity permitting).
