DUPLAYS returns with Competitive netball this summer after last season's successful 10 team league. There is a limit to the number of teams we can accommodate - last season we had to turn away a lot of individual players and teams - so sign up fast! (Sign Up deadline is Monday June 21st so we have plenty of time to publish the playing schedule).
TEAM CAPTAINS - Sign up your team as soon as possible so your players can register for the correct team when they sign up. We can help with Free Agent allocation if you are short of players.
'FREE AGENTS' (i.e. Individuals without a team) - Once you have signed up we will either allocate you to a team already created or create a 'Free Agent' team. Please note a created 'Free Agent' team will need one person to volunteer to be Captain. Duties include making sure the other players are punctual about attendance and payment. Individuals please state your playing positions in the comments box (Defence, Midcourt, Shooter, Anywhere). Please read the condition relating to umpires under Rules

Player Registration
- A minimum of five (5) registered players must be fielded in the team. In the event a team is short of players and therefore fields less than five (5) registered players, that team will be shown to have a forfeit regardless of who “won” the game.
- Only players who have fully registered for the applicable season will be eligible to play in the final.
- Only players of average or above level should apply for this league. If you are a beginner, come join the fun in our Recreational league on Monday nights
Umpires
We are trying to form a panel of experienced umpires for the competitive league to help minimise teams having to supply an umpire each week. (It depends on how many ladies volunteer their time to help umpire games).
- Umpires are paid AED60 per game.
- Each team must provide an umpire as per the schedule (not more than 1 game per week unless agreed with team Captain). If a team's scheduled umpire is absent it will forfeit the game.
